We’ve had our iPads for a while and the students are more comfortable using them. I’ve directed them to use a few apps and websites. We’ve been using Spelling City and Raz Kids in Daily 5 (Language Arts). Having a 1 to 1 set of iPads has been great for providing access to not only the apps on the devices, but to any website we want to explore. I’ve been having the students go ontowonderopolis to look up things they wonder about. Hopefully we will be connecting with students in other classes this week to share what we’ve learned via Skype! Next week I would like to use book creator and iMovie to have students collaborate and create unique items.
